tin
I've got to say, I'm pretty naffed off at City's annoucement to play the Bournemouth game on the saturday instead of the friday. I've heard someone say that its because of police advice, but Sextone has been qouted as saying that we only require police presence at 2 or 3 home games a season. Those are most likely Sheff Wed and Swinedon not Bournemuff! The likes of me and phatwill were at England vs Wales and were amazed by the amount of City fans at Old Trafford. I even saw someone from my row it the Atyeo say 2 rows infornt at Old Trafford. Why oh why wont the club play bournemouth on the friday? The club cannot tell me that police presence will be required against bournemouth...
Guest
One team preferable to watching a load of multi millionares having a kick about.
Guest Champagne Football
Because it is good Friday and so therefore police costs will be substancially higher.
Rich-TWSC-
The Answer. Swindon's trip to Milton Keynes has been moved to the Friday. It's unfortunate but you've got to think about the business side sometimes, haven't you?
Wurzel_Bill
If you aren't going to the England game though it's particularly exciting - watching City pan Bournemouth before going to the Wedlocks to see England win as well - definately a dry blackthorn day! BCFC_Dan
Easy choice - City. And not moving the game to Friday means I can watch Forest Green as well. England are of zero interest to me.
Wurzel_Bill
I'll be home in plenty of time thanks. ← Forget "home", get yourself in the Wedlocks. Book a Taxi for afterwards! If City don't win, of course, I will be at home in front of the telly as well!

Wurzel_Bill
If i can get tickets for the England game then i'll be at Old Trafford. Simple as that. ← A few of my mates say the same, and I can understand that. For me though, City away on a Tuesday night at Grimsby is more important than England at Old Trafford any day. But that's me. While I cherish the opportunity to watch City and then England in the pub, your view does illustrate the fact that the City game may be better on the Friday. Dorset_Cider
City First........ Country Second , modern 'England FC' is not the same as it used to be when I was a nipper...... So CLUB FIRST! Plus the AFC Bournemouth game is far more important........ to BCFC So what can the England game offer me over and above the B'mth game?
