the man as not had the best of seasons so what do you think the prob is?to me it seems that he as been playing alot deeper helping out smith[who i hav,nt rated from day 1].any thoughts?

I have to say that Jamie Smith does not need helping out, if anything he helps out others. I think he is a great player and a more than decent replacement for Carey...in a funny kind of way!! All too confusing with these players keep coming back laugh.gif

He is a great right back, gets forward with the ball well, isn't afraid to tackle and puts in good crosses when allowed to get forward.

The problem with Murray is that he plays best as a winger, but hasn't been given that freedom this season. Wilson certainly knew how to bring out the best in him.

Kustard are you going on the Tinnion doesn't play Wilson players trip again?? I hope not. He may suprise you and play Wilkshire tomorrow stranger things have happened biggrin.gif

No...where did you get that idea from!! I was sticking up for Jamie Smith (a Tinnion signing) and I hope I am surprised and he plays the star that is Wilkshire.

Jamie Smith has taken a long time to settle into the side imo. However he has much improved on his temprement since the start of the season. I have been impressed with his performances since hes been captain. I only wish he would be a bit more vocal and gee up the players a bit more. No captain has been as good as the great Shaun Taylor. city.gif

"You Shaun Taylor, You Shaun Taylor" Oh how we miss him!!!

I have been impressed with Jamie Smith and, although his temperment has calmed a bit, but don't want it to slow down to zero, it is all part of his game. But I think he is a great player and the team wouldn't be the same without him. I didn't actually think it took him that long to settle into the team, I was impressed with him before his captaincy.

I think (and hope) he has a good future at this club.

seems to be the same old problem, too much drink and late nights spent at the casino, and time spent drinking coffee at david llyods when should be training, many supporters seem to know this goes on, so surely the management have some idea, after the poor season murrys had you would have thought he would could at least make an effort to get fit and stay healthy, perhaps we ought to tell his wife what goes on, let her sort him out!!!

Who actually made the decision to bring murray back? If it was Wilson then if it's true Tinnion doesn't play wilsons players, why is he still playing him? Friendship? Is Tinnion trying too hard to justify Murray coming back? Suppose he hadn't left us and his play natrually faded like it has, would he still be getting picked as regularly as he has or would he be challenging another for his place?

I like Scott Murray but think there are better options available. Maybe regularly use murray as a sub or sub him earlier. He is no longer performing over 90 minutes. Ok he made the goal on Saturday but for the amount of time the ball is given to him the end product/return isn't good. It's almost like we have another tinnion on the pitch in the way Murray has always got to to given the ball, it's so predictable. shake it up a bit, add some variation or Bournemouth will stuff us tonight.

I know he is a confidence player, but he has been shown more confidence and patience than some others, by Management and fans alike. I can see both him and Bell being found roles within the club when they finish playing. Cosy.
