Port Said Red
I was looking at the fanzine round up on page 548 of HTV teletext, and noticed a comment along the lines of. "Wednesday have recalled striker John Shaw (really!) from York City as they look to improve fortunes up front" It just made me wonder whether Robin's has failed to make the right sort of impact. :Confused13: :Confused13: :Confused13:
gater2
I wouldn't be surprised, he's not exactally young and that long without playing can't have been good for him.
elhombrecito
I'd say I told you so but that would be hypocritical of me. The Robins fans were too quick to say it when he scored two on debut so I won't fall into that same trap....
TinnionForEngland
What cakes that? Oh Humble Pie, i'll have some. I said he'd be a success - He isn't really firing on all cylinders, time will tell?
Robbored
I've always said that Robins is overated and if he'd come to City he'd have been just as useless as he is at Wednesday.Wilson was right not to sign him. Just go to soccerbase and look at his carreer goals per game ratio. That says it all.
Spud55
Robbins has a history of making an impact when he starts, and then going down like a cheap hooker. Has only ever scored a descent amount of goals in one season in his entire carrear, which was 24 for rotherham once, if i remember correctly from looking at his carrear stats. But most season only ended with 10 - 12 goals or so, which is no better than peacock, Miller or robbo would do.
