Port Said Red Posted May 13, 2005 Report Share Posted May 13, 2005 what so 1 whole season here wasnt long enough? he could of made himself the main man in that time imo←Well it is just your opinion of course, but in my experience players very rarely make an impression in their first season, (especially young ones).I can cite a few examples of good players that were not particularly outstanding in their first season or two: -Mark GavinSteve NevilleLouis CareyBrian Tinnion!Scott Murray!I am sure others can add more. At 21 Lee is still learning, most strikers don't reach their peak until they are 26 /27 or even older in some cases (Bergkamp, Sheringham etc).If we don't stick to our guns, someone is going to pick up a bargain in Lee Miller.....
