He's got the squad he wants for next season with plenty of time to spare before the players return for pre season.If Wilson had still been here we'd not have these 3 (4 if you include MS) signings in the bag. Danny would have packed his bags and jetted off for one of his several summer holidays whilst the competition snapped up the best of the Bosmans.This year the manager has done the job properly. Well done Tins.←Spot on Kings Norton - I was not greatly impressed by Tins last season but he has shown himself to be DW's superior in this respect at least. Wilson would indeed have been sunning himself right now, whereas BT has pulled his finger out and secured three useful (and one outstanding) signings well before players are due back for pre-season training.Well_Red Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Robbored Posted June 4, 2005 Report Share Posted June 4, 2005 Its a double edged sword for Tinnion.Praise for being quick out the blocks and getting the new signings sorted but extra pressure on him when the new campaing gets under way.The general consensus is that Tinnion will have the players he wants.A combination of youth, experience and quality.He'll also be rid of the negative influences within the squad and has the benefit of a seasons experience behind him.As Richieb often puts it there will be "no excuses". Contrast that with Wilson, under whom certain players "fitness programmes" involved seeing how quickly they could descend a flight of stairs! n.b.
