Typical Bristolian then. Phillips, Doherty, Carey and Hewlett are definitely bone fide City fans, these days most of the Academy lads are picked up so young that they have little natural affiliation to other clubs beforehand and if they aren't already practising City fans they soon become so. lotusman Posted June 6, 2005 Report Share Posted June 6, 2005 In several ways the greatest similarity would be that of Chris Garland,Chris left us to enjoy the bigger stage but was really a provincial guy with a deep rooted passion for our club.His return helped tip the balance and succeeded in keeping the club in the top level.Stewarts return albeit at a little later stage of his career but with still enough gas in the tank has also a clear objective,get us out of this league & keep us out.
