JudgeRed Posted June 27, 2005 Report Share Posted June 27, 2005 I just bought of ebay the programme of the very first game i saw City in (Bristol City v Tottenham Hotspurs, Division 1, Saturday January 13th 1979) City lost 1-3 , I remember it becuss Osvaldo Ardiles & Ricardo Villa were making their first appearance in the English leage top flight that season. That game ended 0-0.The 3-1 defeat came the following year in our relegation season. Hoddle scored twice, one a diving header (yes really), the other a penalty.
