Keepers Ball Posted July 16, 2005 Report Share Posted July 16, 2005 Ive noticed Alan Stubbs has been released by Everton this summer afetr he turned down a 1 year contract.After searching the net to see if he's gone anywhere Ive failed to find any news.What do think ? Too Old ?Not needed ?Wages too high ?At 34 he's probably got a couple of seasons in him.He could be good insurance if Coles does get sold and can he afford to be chosey over wages if he wants to carry on playing.Thoughts ? Robbored Posted July 16, 2005 Report Share Posted July 16, 2005 Nice idea but Stubbs could earn considerbly more in a one year deal with Everton than in a three year deal with a club like City.He'll probably end up with a championship club who can afford him.
