I reckon he's well on his way to being the most loathed player in the league. birmingham, man city and Middlesborough all have particular reasons to hate him. I wonder how many sending offs of opponents has he been involved in. But there was no excuse for yesterday. If anelka punched his lights out, his standing in the game would soar. Cole's good at things like hitting an opponent on the head from behind (as at OT in September), or administering a sneaky punch at someone over the top of a crowd of fighting players (as in the tunnel in Istanbul in October).
