Robbored
An easily forgetable game at the Gate today imo.Neither side impressed me much and one goal between them was just about the right result either way.It just happened to go City's way - unlike the last game at AG.Phillips pulled of a blinding save in the first half to keep level at 45 but apart from that had little to do.City were better in the second half but lacked quality around the final third and Murray looked a shadow of his former self despite loads of ball.Wilkshire deserved MoM imo but was run close by Cotterill who caused Trannie problems all game.If only he could learn when to pass...Overall assessment - not pretty but three points.Btw - the referee was inconsistant and whistle happy which didn't help an already dour game. reddevil
Totally disagree about the referee, he was too rubbish to be inconsistent.Good signs I thought, Sankofa is top class and Skuse and Wilkshire getting better every game. Onwards and upwards !!!
court_bcfc
Three points are three points i guess, I'm happy. Centre back partnership was superb today, also brooker put a lot of effort in and played well overall.
bcfcchris2016
Sankofa, Phillips and Wilkshire were the best players today. Both teams were dissapointing today but 3 points is 3 points so i am happy.
NATCHER
Sankofa is top class Quite agree, and his Addicks' buddy was excellent too before his premature exit. So, two in, nine to go, Charlton Ressies must be a pretty tidy side!!!!!!
Guest cidersam
Tranmere from the kick off slowed the game down at every opportunity and time wasted right up until the goal. because of that we couldnt get the game going. Plus the fact the ref blew his whistle every time we won the ball back (well bit of exageration there but thats what it seemed).
Alex_BCFC
Poor performance, good result. Thought Tranmere were good for a point but they missed some good chances. I'm not complaining as I feel justice was done for the Hartlepool game.
Guest Cadburyheath Red
A good result, admitedly against a at best average Tranmere. Pretty or not its the first time ive left AG genuinely happy for ages. Johnson just seams to be making all the right moves & I cant fault him.
