Guest MaloneFM
A gentleman of the game. Old school before the young people ruined the phrase. Along with John Charles the gentle giant. Not many left now. But Stuart Pierce is one of them.
annanimo
I'm too young to have ever seen the great man play, but I appreciate the enormous contribution he made to the game of football. As Malone FM says, he was "a gentle giant" and who am I to argue with the voice of sport? Johnny Haynes was a real gentleman and a giant of football.Today's young players would do well to follow the example Haynes set as a pro footballer.
