Losing Run Sequences

Digging through the record books here are the facts on runs as bad as what we are going through now :

94 /95 Jordan's first game [2nd spell] saw a 3-2 home win against Swindon followed followed by 6 straight league defeats RELEGATION

81/82 6 straight league defeats [March] RELEGATION

You have to go back to 70/71 season when we lost 7 [sEVEN !!] in a row - all league games and we didn't go down ; Alan Dicks' 4th season in charge [he almost got booted in 73/74 too and a cup run saved him and the rest is history].

It's not so bad right now as our losing sequence includes 2 cup games !

And that's got what to do with anything :dunno:

Indeed. The reason for bringing this thread "back to life" was to show that footy is unpredictable, frustrating, irritating and downright exasperating at times. But where would we be without it? Saturday's result (and overall performance) was very encouraging and we all feel fantastic and a bit more optimistic about the rest of the season.

COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!

(hope the dogs are ok, BB)
