I'd all but forgot about the little baldy bloke from Romania(?)he was quite useful as I recallthe little fella was class in my opinion. scored a crazy 30 volley after flicking the ball over his head at chesterfield if i remember rightly. i think he was international captain of moldova or something. he hit the crossbar against england in qualifying for world cup 1998 if memory serves. where did he go? a bit like vilimos(?) seebok, i never noticed him making his escape under pulis. any else one know? Antman Posted November 25, 2005 Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 I think he was sent out on a seasons loan to a Korean side (?)and then his contract ended so he went elsewhere.He was worth money, but another signing of that era that was allowed to slip away for free 'cos they didn't fit the Pulis bill.(Seebok - Anderson - Fat Anderson - et all)expensive way to sign and let players go.
