Keepers Ball
Well why not ? Paul Devlin would be a good addition. His boss at Watford is prepared to let him leave during this window.Ok he's 33 but he's got bags of experience and there are plenty older that are still banging them in. Dolman_Stand
He also said "if we pay significant money" which suggests to me there may be a large transfer fee invloved, surely this means Stewart will be moved on.Apparently QPR and Millwall scouts were at the ressie match tonight and he was took off after only an hour (to keep him from getting injured maybe?)If were spending a large fee, 300-400k maybe, who do you think we could get
Guest Ron
Don't mean to get at you Suicidal, but how old is Marcus Stewart?

Bristol Boy
He's more of a winger, the wrong age and salary bracket.Marcus Stewart all over again. When will we learn that the players who do it for us are the young and up & coming with a point to prove, not blokes like Dinning. gazareth
Johnson is on the main site saying he wants to sign players who can do the job long-term, so I guess that rules out Devlin due to his age.
Robbored
If its a striker that Johnson wants to sign then the rumour mill suggests it will be either Hayter or Jevons. Both play currently for clubs in the south and so neither would have to move far. That has to be a factor in any player joining a new club.Of the two Hayter would be my choice - simply because he has a better goalscoring record.
