Dorset_Cider
If you squint your eyes and pretend... I'm sure they'll be the band 'We used to know'.Careful that you don't squint too much and they turn into 'Blodwyn Pig' I'm certain that with a band of top notch American musos they'll sound great but ........ SimplyRed
You must mean Ian Anderson and some session men surely?is Barrymore Barlow there, Martin Barre? anyone who was in the 'real' Tull? This is voice of a sad old Tull fan(who stopped buying their albums when Anderson did his solo rubbish)Skating away on the thin ice of a new day........Ah yes, nostalgia! But the original Tull guitarist was Mick Abrahams on the debut album (This Was) - who I believe went on to form Blodwyn Pig. Martin Barre joined on the second album (Stand Up).Ian Anderson is the only 'original' member of the band remaining. When I saw them at the Colston Hall a year or two back, Martin Barre was with him.I took a break from them when they went a bit 'folky' in the late 70's and early 80's, but have bought a few of their more recent albums. 70's stuff rules though!Personal favourite - Aqualung (especially 'Locomotive Breath')
Port Said Red
Tell you what...compromise...you tell us and we'll kill Legend...deal? Tom, I can't believe you don't find this an offer to good to refuse If this is true then it doesn't say much for Stewarts intelligence level even by footballers standards. He signed for a club in league one, managed by a player with mostly league one experience. Everything at the club is geared to league 1. Who was he expecting to be managed by, Ferguson, Mourinho, Wenger?
