I saw on sky sports news this morning that France are thinking of changing the points system to encourage more entertaining football as In france there are too many 0 - 0 draws. I think it said:

3 points = Win

2 Points = Scoring draw

1 Point = Scoreless draw

0 Points = Loss

Plus bonus points if you score more than 2 goals. don't know how reliable this is! If you could find out any more info I will be waiting here!

I think this would be a good idea as when ever city get a 0 -0 draw then i feel like we lost 9 times out of 10 as its just so boring!

Any other views?

One of the very few things I am conservative about is football. I don't know why bureaucrats have to keep medling with the game at all?

However, the 2 points for a score draw sounds interesting. But would teams end up settling at 1-1? 1-1 after 10 mins could make for a fairly boring remaining 80 mins.

Interesting suggestion though.

i feel there needs a be distinction between a win and a draw. We might aswell go back to 2pts for a win. Adding bonus points would be stupid..

if it aint broke don't fix it!
