The Ultra's get away with it time and time again as they are protected by bent coppers. The Italian papers describe the usual group of around 50 lads spending the entire day drinking beer in the historic centre, before running into a similarly sized group of Romanisti at Campo de' Fiori, where it kicked off. No mention of women, children and family groups, axes or flares being thrown into bars. Photos seem to lend at least some credence to the Italian version as well as showing the usual "measured" response of the Italian police.
