Port Said Red
Well a couple of thoughts. I was under the impression that the Doc was suspended for this one :Confused13: Will Bell or Brown be fit? :Costumed89: Didn't Amankwaah do enough on Saturday to warrant a start? :Costumed89: Will Danny stay with 3-5-2 or was that just to match Sheff Wed on Saturday? :speechless3:
Robbored
Docherty is suspended and its unlikely that either Brown or Bell will be fit.Burnell should be available after a bout of 'flu. Wilson may well go 3-5-2 again. Probably the same team as Sat with Burnell the only change. I'm looking forward to seeing Butler up against Beattie and Phillips :how funny: if they play. Port Said Red
I know what you mean, I am however looking forward to Danny Coles and Matty proving they really are the real deal, even if it does mean even more scouts sniffing around Danny in particular . fct
I think whoever Danny plays will play their socks off. Its important to get some pride out of the result, no matter if we lose 3 or 4 -0. Personally I think Southampton will not play their strongest side but that doesn't make much difference as their reserves are probably better than most division 1 sides. I agree that it will be interesting to see how Danny Coles and Matty Hill play against Premier League forwards; it'll be fast and pacey and they'll need defensive cover from the midfield, so I won't be surprised if Burnell drops into the back to help out. The Saints have been reasonably tight at the back this season so I'm not expecting city to score, given our predictable football this season and a lack of ability to score more than 1 against most ordinary division 2 teams.
