bh red Posted April 15, 2006 Report Share Posted April 15, 2006 have to say the gas, although they maybe lower than us in position and points, that is too easy to judge, if you look back to the start of the season and Expections, our season has been an almighty flop, stewart and bridges both gone after soo much hype, Tinnion gone after finally getting "his squad" getting stuffed good and proper by Swansea and also going out of every cup competition at the first round, plus the infamous romeo brown's incident!The only highlight really has been the Pre-season win against the gas and the fact Johnson is now boss and is making wholesale changes and sorting out long-term problems.as for the gas, they got shot of a manager in Ian Atkins that fans, board and players alike hated, now have an good manager combination of Trollpe and Lennie Lawerence (hate the bloke, but his record speaks for itself) and this season have to forwards scoring plenty of goals in Walker and Agogo, add into that that they are in with a shout of the play-offs, This has been a great season for them, Personally I think Rovers have had a better season, but either way I think Next Season really could see both clubs making serious attempts for promotion from their respective leagues Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
