James M Posted April 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 Brilliant win today. Was a tough game, Oldham appear to be great big cry babies - moaning all the time. A few dodgy moments, especially in the first half, lacks of communication between basso and the defence could've cost us.The midfield was just superb today. We lacked width at times, Cotts and Brown both staying a bit too central perhaps, but Noble especially was fantastic. Noble's 2nd half free kick so unlucky - the first one brought about a fantastic save.Brooker looked a little shy of match fitness at times, but as ever the crucial goal when we needed it.Cotterill's tricks were great, especially that 360 spin.
