glastonred
I haven't heard anything about how Marcus is doing at Preston. Has he played or scored a goal yet? When Bridges left for Carlisle he was soon in the news, but not a peep from Preston. Can somebody please enlighten me?

Desso
Apparently Preston thought that his fitness wasn't up to scratch and sent him back. He was training at AG on Saturday morning.
cheshire_red
He didn't even make it on to the bench for the Fans Derby.

Redpepper
But as Preston have a guranteed play off place now their season still has a long way to run.Wouldn't the irony be if Stewart scores the winning goal (his one and only for Preston!) at the Millenium Stadium to put Preston in the Premiership - stranger things have happened in football!Just another point and this is mearly an observation. Isn't it strange how the 2 players who at the start of this season were supposed to be the great hope for City to help us gain promotion to the Championship are now both with clubs who are pushing hard for promotion out of their respective leagues.Carlisle and Bridges are almost certainly guaranteed automatic promotion and obviously Stewart should (if fit) be involved in some way in Preston's play offs!Funny old game football....
