This highlights a potential banana skin in our quest for automatic promotion, the failure to turn the screw and score a bit more freely when we're on top in games. It only takes a poor refereeing decision or a lucky deflection to turn 1-0 and 3 points into 1-1 and 1 point. Mind you, even winning 6-0 there'd still be the usual lot leaving early..... Suspense I can handle, but many more games with 87 mins holding onto a 1-0 lead may see me missing the promotion party, due to a massive myocardial infarction.
