Guest Eamer
When the weather is that hot you'll sweat in anything.

However shirts definitely became see-through when wet. Not surprised you noticed really, Dollymarie.I'm definitely in favour of the next women's world cup being in Africa with Puma supplying all the shirts. Admin Maesknoll Red Posted June 11, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted June 11, 2006 Can you explain this? Or am I being blonde? Blonde. I'm assuming he means Vick, the decongestant, applied to their torso before putting on their shirts.

Dollymarie
Blonde. I'm assuming he means Vick, the decongestant, applied to their torso before putting on their shirts. I know what Vick is, but still don't get why they would be wearing it, havent heard of it before. Why do they need decongesting?

Harvey_BCFC
They are definatly puma shirts. I think they were made from non-breathable material, therefore they were sticking.

Why do they need decongesting? Often see many of the Premier players with a large splodge of it on their shirt fronts just below the collar. Aids breathing, the latest fad? Remember the nose strips that Robbie Fowler used to wear - same reason.
Dan C
It shouldn't really bother us as the english weather is rubbish.
MATT BCFC
Can you explain this? Or am I being blonde? Some players put vic on their chest to help them breathe more easily.
Lordofthebling
Its not Vick. Its a certain material that you put on your chest and tips of your boots, which gives you extra control when controlling the ball.Cant remember what it is called, but Ive used it. And Patrick Viera was one of the first to use it inn the premier. As for the shirts, anyone would sweat in that heat!
Ben4BCFC
Czech shirts were also puma and they had the puma on their shoulders as well as the chest by the looks of them. a different kind of design and I didnt like it that much but it must have been liked by some people

the_real_city
Cardiff had Puma for 3 years. Good quality stuff at times but some could be a bit tatty. Joma which we have now seems alot more quality and elegant mind!
