Private Cider(cider army)
Good and bad points to come out of Saturdays game - Good Points Danny showing that he's not afraid to change things before half time Roberts having a good game and linking well with Wilkshire Joe Burnell getting forward, scoring and having a great game. Leroy Lita looking enthusiastic and exciting Wilkshire not being afraid to shoot Bad Points Coles and Butler looking awful Kevin Amankwaah looking uninterested for the 3rd game in a row Using Lee P as a target man so he doesnt get in to goal scoring positions. Lita getting injured shots to goals ratio (16 - 1) 2000 fans missing paying £15 a ticket (£30000 lost in revenue) Another draw! Another bad performance after showing what we are capable of against Southampton.
beaverface
Must disagree with some of your good points. 1. Danny changing things before half time is a reflection of how bad his team has been prepared. ie. Instructions, formation and players. 2. Roberts did not play well, as a striker he did not score or cause problems, and as a winger he did beat his man nowhere near enough and on the one occasion he did, the final ball was terrible. Admittedly Wilkshire looks more suited to the role he's been playing the last couple of games. 3. Jo did play well. 4. Lita did look enthusiastic, but apart from the penalty incident I can't help feeling he'll struggle for goals until decent service is provided. Ummmm - If Kev A had played to his ability then no changes would have had to be made before half time.
Guest WillsbridgeRed
Can Wilson do nothing right? He spots a problem and changes things, and it's still his fault. The fans wanted Amankwaah and he's not been the player we all rememeber
Robbored
Give some credit to Luton. They defended the whole of the second half without having a shot on the City goal for the whole second 45 mins. And..Newell reckoned that they should have won the game.... :how funny: Wilson did all he could to improve the situation, starting by taking of Amankwaah but City just didn`t get the breaks and had a stonewall penalty turned down. Guest WillsbridgeRed
Luton did defend as well as any side we've seen - Reminded me of Cardiff in the Play offs. They soaked up at least 45 mins of pressure living us with hardly anything in the way of chances, and then should have snatched it at the death. Full marks to them, it's a shame they may be homless in the not too distant future
