I liked Wilson, and think you don't sack a manager four years into a stated five year plan. But still quite funny when he says he's never seen a game like 5-3, when he managed us through a 5-4 that was far more exciting.

I'm not knocking Wilson but given so many of you think he is a fantastic manager I find it strange that he has spent so much of his recent career knocking around the lower leagues and seemingly travelling in a downwards direction.

If he'd put Lita on the bench, there was no guarantee that he'd have scored anyway.

The players let us down that day, they just didn't turn up to the party.

Personally speaking, I would knock Wilson.

I never got into the camp of knocking him because he refused to relocate or that he just leaned against the dugout, but I certainly objected to the money he spent and the lack of results.

I remember getting so frustrated that time and time again teams who had spent far less got far better results.

If you judge him by:

- points gained against cost of squad

- points gained overall

He was a failure. So in terms of efficacy and efficiency he didn't do it for us. And he hasn't really proved himself since...
