Andy082005
The away end holds 1600. Ive never been there before so do we normally make it all ticket, and if we do, do we sell it out?

You Know I Am Right
we sold it out when we drew 1 1 a few years ago, cant remember if all tickettrain station right next to the ground, loads of pubs/chippys on the high street right next to the ground
BCAGFC
Always been all ticket when I have been there, away fans are put in a covered stand on the side of the pitch. If we are top 6 we will sell out, if not top 6 probably about 1000.Crewe Alexandra is usually a good day out (beer wise) and very easy to get to (especially by train).BCAGFC
22A
Come out of the station and turn left into Nantwich Road (this is behind one of the goals) turn left again into Gresty Lane and the corner of the ground is just railings. Theoretically you can stand on the pavement and see 90% of the ground for free through the railings. In practice the Police will probably decide you are causing obstruction and move you on (over to Red Goblin at this point). When Crewe are shown on TV and the camera is pointing at the goal, this corner is top left of the screen.Good pub for food & beer is the other side of the Nantwich Road at this corner. cheshire_red
They're not getting many decent gates and sometimes offer one of the small stands behind the goals to clubs that can sell them as well as the 1,600 in the side stand. Certainly Forest had one and Everton did for a pre season firendly I attended a few seasons back.

tom buck
I'm hopefully going up to crewe with a few mates on the train. does anyone know how long it would take on the train?
22A
10.59 from Temple Meads, change at Brum, arrive Crewe 13.39. Leave Crewe 17.30, arrive back before 9,00pm.There are other services though. If you buy a ticket as much in advance as poss and specify exactly which trains you will travel on, you can get a good discount.
