Trouble?

You talk some rubbish.

The Gestapo and the british police force are like chalk and cheese. using sensationalism on some people may work but ultimately that is an idiotic statement.

Have you ever actually heard me talk? :noexpression:

The Third Reich's Gestapo and this country's hopelessly corrupt toff/snob led Royalist Gestapo Police are one and the same. The scenes below are not from 1930's or 1940's Germany but are of middle England in the mid 1980's during the 'Battle of the Beanfield'.....

A Royalist Gestapo Policeman is seen here smashing up private property..........

A young English women cowers terrified under the subjugating baton of a Royalist Gestapo Policeman......

Policing is starting to degenerate into the brutal farce as of the 1980's. The 1985 Battle of the Beanfield eyewitness reports.....

Two of the few journalists who ignored police advice to stay behind the lines were Home Affairs correspondent for The Observer, Nick Davies, and ITN Reporter Kim Sabido. Nick Davies wrote the next day:

"There was glass breaking, people screaming, black smoke towering out of burning caravans and everywhere there seemed to be people being bashed and flattened and pulled by the hair... men, women and children were led away, shivering, swearing, crying, bleeding, leaving their homes in pieces... Over the years I had seen all kinds of horrible and frightening things and always managed to grin and write it. But as I left the Beanfield, for the first time, I felt sick enough to cry."

While Kim Sabido described the scene to the camera thus:

"What we, the ITN camera crew and myself as a reporter, have seen in the last 30 minutes here in this field has been some of the most brutal police treatment of people that I've witnessed in my entire career as a journalist. The number of people who have been hit by policemen, who have been clubbed whilst holding babies in their arms in coaches around this field, is yet to be counted... There must surely be an enquiry."

When the ITN news aired this segment, Kim Sabido's narration was removed, as were some of the more violent clashes from the footage.

just got back from game. not tear gas, but pepper spray. kept behind in the car park by the old bill for ages, buses and all other fans. Pitch invasion by the gas where they tried to wind up and get to the city fans, you can guess what happened next.... city fans tried to get to them. Police dogs, horses and riot gear on the pitch. Terrible policing, even some gashead coppers who were winding the city fans up - no joke. Never seen so many police and police vans in my life.

Police were baton-happy and even hit a lot of random people - and one of them was the gashead who was laughing and smiling after he was doing it. I was not involved in any of this, but saw it all (and got a bad throught from peper spray).

I am ashamed to be a Bristolian !

Yeah apologies to everyone. I should have said CS spray, although its the same substance. Sorry to anyone who got the wrong idea about it

Mr goblin, I would just like to say one thing. A lot of those d**khead poll tax rioters/rioting "poor" miners/battle of the beanfield were far from innocent people on a demo, but a bunch of highly politicised anarchists out to provoke trouble. and they did in fact catch some. some of these same protesters have been involved in any protest the hard left have ever taken part in. Having had personal dealings with the vermin, I can attest to their highly organised shytestirring at all demos. and yes the vermin in question did get a slap or two. great fun!

To compare those waste of skin work dodging scum with City fans who copped a lot of heavy handed policing at Whorefield, Warsaw and many other grounds is very unfair on City fans. Takes away from the effect of your earlier postings on the subject, which were spot on.

As a staunch Republican and Royalist Gestapo Police hating Englishman I'll latch onto any anti-establishment cause however seemingly futile. I came from a family that were as poor as church mice - any chance of improving my meagre lot at the expense of some self serving plutocrat or royalist and I'll take it. :innocent06: Interesting to note that this country is now a net importer of coal since Thatcher got her way in having most of the coal mines closed. Interesting to note also that living in a caravan is now the only means of independent living for many young people as housing is now too expensive - 'thanks' due again to Thatcher for that. Take yer blinkers off bucksred and look around you at the low wage and high house price economy that now surrounds you.

Interesting to note also that the country is one of the most successful economies in Europe precisely becasue of the work done during the Thatcher era in dismantling the power of unions which were holding the country back at the expense of not only there members but the rest of us, and despite the best efforts of Tony and Gordon. In case you have missed it despite the fact that we import coal we have effectively full employment. The fact is it makes economic sense for us to import coal because our production of it was notcompetitive. The rest of Europe will be moving toward our model rather than us to theirs.

Back to City 3 points a necessity today and we will see whether the additions to the squad have actually been additive - at the moment the jury is very much out .

:disapointed2se::disapointed2se::disapointed2se::disapointed2se: Bucksred, I have never disagreed with you before, indeed, I think you are one of the more wittier and intelligent posters on here, but I'm with RG on this one.

The poll tax riots/the beaten abused and defrauded miners and the women and children brutally attacked by the police were fighting to keep their heads above water, they were not just looney left anarchists(Daily Mail speak), but also peaceable people standing up foir democracy and free speech.

Football fans are not that different in the eyes of the police.

Abuse is abuse and these uniformed goons are a poor reflection on modern British culture.

I agree with wellyredhead, Bucksred is indeed a witty and intelligent poster but he seems rather blinkered about the true nature of Margaret Thatcher and her Tory regime of the 1980's. Thatcher loved the Police to do her dirty work and the Police loved Thatcher for the triple time over-time she gave them.......to say that the Police were not politically motivated in their Thatcher inspired subjugatory attacks on Poll Tax protesers, Miners, festival goers etc is a delusion. To be fair to the Police, they haven't always been so hostile to the ordinary bod - during the 1926 General Strike they went on strike as well but have been banned from doing so since. A retired copper told me it's now a 'treasonable' offence for a copper to go on strike and that's why they've got a Police Federation to represent them instead of a proper Trades Union.

Thatcher and some of her loyal puppets/muppets in blue.........

Mate, I came here as a near enough penniless immigrant. Everything I have has come through my hard work, and only mine. I was educated abroad. I have served in my new countries military forces. I have had to play at fireman during the firemans strike, guard several military installations from illegal(By anyones standards) and violent, organized demos, which could have led to serious trouble, environmental issues and major national security issues. I have seen the Berlin Wall, the Inner German border, set up, not by neo fascist Nazi germans, but by the German Democratic Republic, led by the communist Party. Never saw any West Germans defecting to the Socialist Workers Paradise. Saw around 300 "Ossis"in two years defect to the West

Unlike most Ive seen the reality of socialism in its most undemocratic extremes. I've seen poverty REAL poverty in the socialist republics of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and many other African states. aint no capitalist plot there, its called money grabbing dictators military juntas, (Mostly trained by Soviet Russia, and The Peoples Republic Of China)who's abuse of human rights, BASIC human rights make the "royalist fascist" police here look like kindergarten bullies.

Any abuses here are small scale and not in the same league as what occurs every single day in at least 100 other countries world wide. As for housing one in 5 Zimbabweans have no home, destroyed by the communist bullies of N Korean trained 5th Brigade bully boys, to make comfortable walled fortified compounds for the apparchniks of the Communist ZANU PF

If we in our comfortable life in the West don't wake up, we'll lose everything. Kids in India, China, South Africa, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, S Korea & Vietnam, are getting as good an education as our kids, and get paid one tenth if they are lucky of our wages, and produce goods as good as ours for a fraction of the cost. and India is a huge democracy, hardly yet flexing its industrial might.

There aint any such thing as a perfect fair world, but beleive me this country is just about as close to it, as you are ever going to find. And I thank God for that. and we all should do, and be very proud of that fact.

And I thank God we can argue on here about it, and , youre humour and generally succinct postings on here can take place, and that you bring valuable points to the forum on every issue you post on.

When you hit the spot, and you do in general, you make a killing point, with humour, and with telling graphics.

On this though, I regret to say, you have not. sorry to say.

Bucksred, you may have missed the bigger picture regarding my posts. Since the English Civil war ended way back in the late 1640's the English people have settled disputes with Government largely peacefully via Parliament. Since the Margaret Thatcher era concensus Government in this country has been eroded. The Government no longer listen to the people - it's like having a pressure cooker on a very hot fire with no relief valve - it's going to blow soon in this country as it did in the 1640's. I'm not really bothered about what's gone on in other country's you've been sent to/ lived in - it's none of my business. However, it is our business when highly paid Police strut around like German SS Gestapo and start spraying our fellow Bristolians and City supporters at a football match with chemical weapons spray.
