Bristol Boy
It has been confirmed that Neil Danns has rejected a move to Nottingham Forest. Forest boss Colin Calderwood is looking to bolster his squad as the season enters its final stretch. Calderwood made an approach to Birmingham, but the player himself decided against a move to The City Ground. "Danns is another one we looked at who doesn't want to come," Calderwood told the Nottingham Evening Post. "We are analysing our options. We want to make sure we have enough players for the last games." Danns's representative Derek Green confirmed the move was rebuffed. "Neil did turn down the chance to move to Nottingham Forest," Green told skysports.com. "With the amount of games left this season he wants to finish the campaign with Birmingham." -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Robbored
Not many good quality players will want to drop to the third tier of English football. That won't be such a problem if the club gets into the Championship.
Redhyde
Forest don't seem to popular with good league 1 wingers at the moment as Matty Jarvis rejected them also. It's a good insight to people who think signing quality championship players is easy. Fact is we probably have and have been turned down, but you just don't know about it
