22A Posted March 28, 2007 Report Share Posted March 28, 2007 I'll go for the easy option; 1905-06 season P38 W30 D6 L2 (yes that's right just two defeats all season) F83 A28.The season started with an away defeat, then came 14 consec victories, 8 home and 6 away. A 24 game spell saw 20 wins and 4 draws. The final 12 games produced 10 wins and 2 draws.City did all that using just 18 players all seaon.Interesting fact about the 22/23 promo season; at the end of it, six Directors were suspended for life due to "irregularities"! The record is 6 away wins on the trot 16th September Stockport 2-1till November 25th when we beat Clapton Orient 2-0 in 1905. That season we went on to win the title! Thats a fact.
