Guest
Just shows in a sense how shabby AG is now, compared to that lot.We are going to have one of the worst grounds in the league now - lets hope it has a Colchester effect on those visiting! Ray White
Vicarage Road? That's a hole if ever there was one. Even Colchester are getting a new stadium complete with a hotel, tennis courts and god knows what else.

bh_red
I find it amazing, how different the Valley is since last time we went there.........very impressive
buanryoh
It's a shame we wont be playing leeds next year. Seeing as I live there. Why is it that whenever we go up, there always seems to be a huge club who used to be in the premiership that goes down?
Ricky BCFC
What about Luton Town and their Grand Prix track going through the middle of the stadium? Or have they scrapped that idea now? EDIT: Just realised Luton are relegated anyway

22A
Yes City have won at Charlton and Stoke. At the end of Alan Dicks' first season City needed to win on the last day (where have we heard that before?) to stay up and they did 2-1 at Charlton.1994/95 season during Joe Jordan's second managerial spell; At Christmas Stoke were beaten 3-1 to the satisfaction of Jordan as they had sacked him earlier that season. Stoke returned to Ashton Gate for the F.A. Cup third round. This was goal less, but City won the replay at Stoke. They had taken a first half lead, but a flash of brilliance from Junior Bent sent the tie into extra time. Ian Baird gave City the lead and Brian Tinnion wrapped it up when he smashed a thunderbolt into the Stoke net. The East Anglian trio have so often proved bogey grounds for City. Less than 10 years ago we won 4-3 at Colchester and in September 1978 City won 1-0 at Portman Road, but I can't recall a win at Norwich in my lifetime, a few draws at best. Let's face it City usually fail at those three grounds. However the current team may well give us a few pleasant surprises in 07/08.
