Redtucks Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 I don't think he's dominant and tough enough.Neither do I think he's better than Keogh or Fontaine-certainly not McCombe or Carey, so the question must be asked, if we are, as SL & GJ said, only signing better players than we have, why have we signed him?Quite simple really.GJ has seen more of him than you, and with a better record in football management than you, his opinion counts more than yours. CheltenhamCityFan Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 Lets not forgot GJ's post match interview on Radio Bristol when he said Fontaine came on and did excellently but lost his man for QPR's equaliser.I thought Fontaine did well and looked more assured than towards the end of last season, I think Vasko will be a tremendous signing.For what its worth, I thought Basso could have done more for QPR's first goal. Primary faulT was Vasko for letting it bounce/ getting brushed off, Secondary fault - Basso came 10 yards and froze, Blackstock continued moving which is why he got their before Basso.
