According to the program last night they spent £9.63Mil in the summer on transfers.

BUT

They recd £18 mil from selling players and that figure could rise dependant on a player they got out on loan with a view to a permament move...

We all know though spending money in a league to get you out of it doesnt always work, its nice though not to have every other manager from a club keep telling the press that were the big spenders of the league anymore

I agree!

But i wouldn't mind Man City's Miller on loan for the season. A real handful-Big,Strong& Pacey!

I'm so glad he was on the bench and they started with Beattie.

Must admit if I HAD to take one he would have been my choice too. Maybe swop him for OUR big strong and pacy striker when his knee gets better!!! :laugh:
