I hope someone who knows a bit more detail than me can put together a list of the players we all watched that he brought to us, I think people will be astounded.Met him once or twice and he was as cynic says a true gent.RIP. SouthGlosRed Posted November 5, 2007 Report Share Posted November 5, 2007 RIP Jock.Lived a couple of streets away and drank in the local pub.Knocked on our door when I was a kid, wanting me to train with the other youngsters down at the City ground. I was out and my Dad said no because he felt I needed to concentrate more on my schoolwork, not that I did.Never found this out until years later, and it's the one thing I'll never forgive him for.... Jock was one of the unsung heroes and played a big part in City getting into the old first division.
