headhunter
Yes, I was there - my first full season of watching City.As a result of this defeat Fred Ford was fired as Manager three days later. There were 3 goals in the last 4 minutes of the game.Alan Skirton scored two of the Seasiders goals and just over a year later he was to join City in a £15000 deal. He is / was Yeovil's Commercial Manager.I'd buy that DVD if it was available for the nostalgia

Rudolf Hucker
I watched it from the Open End with my dad, standing on the steps of the old Hospital Radio commentary box (shed).
CodeRed
I remember this game well - watched it from the East End. It was, I think, the first time City had ever been on MOTD and it caused quite a lot of extra interest.CR
Economou
I have a Danny Baker or Nick Hancock vid where Blackpool scored the fastest goal ever at the Gate. 9 secs.Well, I don't know if it was the quickest ever but difficult to beat. CodeRed
Home to Man City ,two seasons previous, 1-1 (bbc 2 then)Feb 5th 1966 - you are correct!! 1-1 at AG, that result left us 6th (take that in May 08 wouldn't we?).I didn't know about that game - sadly I only stated going at the start of the next (1967-68) season, so I missed seeing the Great Man play (Johnny Atyeo) as he retired at the end of 1966.I only saw him play in his testimonial.CR

The Chaplain
Most memorable MOTD appearance for me, boxing day 1993 - home to Forest, got stuffed and Collymore got a hat-trick - Gary Linaker was in the Williams ... I was down in Bristol for Christmas and, despite protests from pregnant wife wanting to get back home to London, stayed for the game. Son ended up being born same day - in Southmead ... true Bristolian
