Geoff65 Posted December 15, 2007 Report Share Posted December 15, 2007 Basso has an able replacement, our strikers have able replacements.Elliot - good shout but I think he can replaced and it would effect us but not as much as Carey - Carey organises and runs the defense but he is also key to our passing game - he gets the ball to our midfield in a co-ordinated way - remember when he goes off - the back four then start to launch 40 yrd balls to the opposition's back four and we lose all of our passing game. We do have other good centre backs so it's can't be Carey.The only person in the squad who's irreplaceable is LJ, there simply isn't another player we have like him.
