TinnionForEngland
But i'd rather we finished off Bradford, rather than allowing our players to play dull football and come away with a draw, and another game which could affect our league form i.e injuries, we wanna finish off the job. KingswoodRed
Embarrasing. Ask any Luton fan who Thurrock were before the cup draw and each to a man/woman wouldn't have a clue who they were let alone what league they were in. So for Luton not to be able to beat them makes a mockery of the wages & status of teams in the Nationwide & indeed the Premiership. I wonder how many of the Thurrock players tonight would dream of Division 2 wages week in week out?
bcfc seattle
I think they are pumped for the game. Want to put on a show as opposed to oh they're a little club we'll walk on them. I'm thinking the lads are angry and want to show they are a quality side.
Robbored
I watched some of the game on Sky Sports and in the first half Thurrock had only one plan - put the ball behind the Luton defence and use the pace of their front runners to best advantage. To be fair to Luton, they didn`t play well but still managed to come away with a draw. They could/should have won but thats Cup football. If City draw at Bradford this Sunday and force a replay at AG - I bet there will be less than 6000 there.I'll be one of them.
Dave L
So for Luton not to be able to beat them makes a mockery of the wages & status of teams in the Nationwide & indeed the Premiership. City 1 Kingstonian 1. Thorpe in the last seconds. We beat them in the replay. City 1 Liverpool 1. We beat them in the replay too. It's cup football. These things happen from time to time. openEnd
but thats Cup football. Indeed and thats what we all love about our wonderful FA cup. It's the reason why it's STILL the envy of the world. I need a lie down after my :PC_Plod: first agreement with Robbored :PC_Plod:
