Steady Eddy Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 I know I'm going to get slated for writing this!!But i heard off of a realiable source...That he had no idea about being sold to Leeds, and that he didnt want to join them wanted to stay and fight for his place, despite GJ saying that he is no longer in his plans, and that if he didnt have no future he would leave at the end of the season on a free. WarksRed Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 Yes, he was sat in the POSH seats, and from very early on, obviously not wanted in the dressing room .GJ also said in the report on the main site that he should have gone to Leeds, but didn't even speak to Leeds which had upset them..so ..... i guess he's available while he's at the gate, but going by GJ's tone, i feel he could be left warming the posh seats for the rest of the season. xerox6060 Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 I found it bizarre that we had no orthodox striker on the bench, so to me he was obviously being 'punished' by GJ for not talking to Leeds, a move I think he was right to turn down as 6 months later he would have been part of Leeds revolving door of players.
