Robbored
WBA have now slipped to fourth and have taken just five points from the last possible 15.Despite playing some impressive football going foward they just can't defend and seem to be really struggling.Didn't they do something similair last season and ended up in the play-offs? They have just been unlucky in front of goal and the problem is more to do with not converting any chances they make. I still think that any team that finishes ahead of them will be promoted but the pressure is really on them to deliver now.
ciderup
Chatting to a Blades fan on another forum, it appears Sheff Utd put 10 men behinfd the ball last night in a (successful) attempt to get a point. I certainly wouldn't discount WBA just yet. May their wobble continue (and take Stoke with them)!

CHIPLEY RED
Norwich, QPR and Hull.Maybe some late runs for play-off places starting!!!
fct
WBA's poor run has coincided with injuries to Phillips and Greening amongst others. If they return for the last 10 or so games they could well be in there.
CHIPLEY RED
How things change. I thought we were on a bad run since loosing to Middlesborough in the cup but a couple of wins and we are now on a good run. Who'd have thought that after QPR. PhatWill
Since Palace beat us 2-0 at Selhurst they have: played 4, won 0, drawn 1, lost
DavidNoble
well yes lately they have dropped quite alot of points especially at games where we did not expect it such as preston but they are still in my opinion the best footballing side in the division infront of us if you can remeber the game at the hawthornsthey also have the most depth in their side but not as much team spirit as us and i also feel that if we go a goal behind at a big place we find it difficult to get back into itbut keep it up lads your playing superb football and can't wait to cheer you on to promotion at wembley
CHIPLEY RED
You and GJ are right thats why he breaks the season into blocks of 10.But we shouldn't think the opposite as well when we win a couple i suppose. Oh well happy days!!!!!!

Robbored
They aren't playing that well according to their own reports. If it was City who had taken 5 points from a possible 15 the pundits would no doubt be writing us off - but seemingly not a 'big' club like WBA. Alex_BCFC
West Brom might be the best side in the league on their day but they don't have much consistency away from home which is slowing them up. I certainly wouldn't want to face them again this season.
mozo
The truth is that we are in decent overall form even after two poor performances in London. In terms of performance we did have a sticky patch in the time of the Palace and QPR defeats.Let's not forget the wins against Blackpool and Cardiff were the result of hanging on for dear life, and the Colchester game was a dire effort and two points lost. However, we hung on to pick up points despite a dip in form and Carey's absence, so can't complain too much.I have a sneaking feeling that our line-up will become settled for the last dozen games and we will see our best form yet!
