old spot
little un Posted on Apr 9 2004, 10:38 PM Leicester last season. Not very exciting Yes it was, didn't the SUBMARINE slip its mooring for the first time that day? Remember our astonishment, after seeing it on the motorway, when we saw it outside the walkers later! Things have never been the same since! :Party3: THANKFULLY!
Uncle Ern
Cardiff away circa 1967 lost 5-1. City fans tried to burn down the Grange End which at that time had wooden terracing !!! Got the ritual abuse and attempted kickings until one of our little mob ( we were only 14!) "liberated" a Cardiff scarf and made it look like we were theirs, then hurridly ditched the offensive article upon meeting the rest of the City fans at the station. Nightmare. Cider Red Sam
Wembley vs Stoke if that counts. If not then Sat 6th Jan 2001 (it was my brothers birthday so easy to remember the day!) against Huddersfield. We won 2-0 in the FA Cup 3rd Round! Beadle + Clist scorers. First league away game = Swindon, soon after the Huddersfield game. Drew 1-1. Peter Beadle scored again!
