when i watched soccer night last night (not as if i was a bif fan of the show, it was just nothing else on), the guest of the show (who represented the gas) admitted at the end that skysports will be doing a south-west masters football in cardiff arena or something like that.

First i'v heard of this. but still, be interesting, a bit more national publicity for both bristol clubs and 2 other clubs. who-ever they our.

Just popped on http://www.mastersfootball.com and it says there'll be a Western masters tournament in cardiff on 22nd June. Cardiff, Swansea, us and the gas. Sounds like a great day out!

thats cool, see the bristol city fans take up a third of the arena :winner_third_h4h:

as for bigtones post, i just thought because it is western masters, cardiff would not be in it because they our from another country, thought it would be something like Swindon and ummm Plymouth :noexpression:

but seeing swansea and cardiff with us will make a tasty atmosphere

Surprised they don't include a couple more teams like Swindon & Plymouth and make a half decent show of it.

Who do you think will be in our team?

A few suggestions for players probably still fit enough to play in the masters:

Stuart Naylor (still in decent condition, whats Keith Welch doing these days? Blue movies??!!)

Mickey Bell

Shaun Taylor

Brian Tinnion

Bob Taylor

Gary Owers

Russell Osman

Tony Thorpe

I'd bet SuperBob plays in the Midlands Masters for WBA.

Tinman has to be in it, and oooo Shaun Taylor.

Could we get Jacki over for it? That would be awesome.

Any idea of price and date?? ALos when and where you can get tickets??

Think it's about £14 and if you become a member on the mastersfootball website you get 10% off if you book through them. 22nd June is the date and tickets go on sale early next week. It should be a good laugh i reckon.

Andy LLEWELLYN is up for it apparently as is Mark Shail

for me it would be

...Mike Stowell...........

........Taylor.............Shail........

..........Tinnion.........

.........Thorpe........Jaki .

Bob Taylor

Andy LLEWELLYN

Micky Bell

marcus Stewart

Shaun Goater

Stowell will represent wolves i'm sure

mine could be, both optimisticly and realistically

.Welch............

.....Llewellyn......Taylor..........

.Tinnion......

.........Goater......B.Taylor......

Shail

Bent

Bell

Rob EDWARDS ?

Colin CRAMB ?

but despite all that, having Jacki Dzikanowski for City would be a dream, he was in masters football years ago representing Central Europe or something like that
