Some of what's said on U tube you'll never see or hear on TV.Agreed Mr Goblin ' Freedom of Speech and Expression' via the net is a good thing where people thes days feel that they can air their views , whatever they are , and do it in confidence , honesty and without fear .There is no hidden agenda or the need to be politically correct which is something we've debated previously , although care should always be taken with views that are to extreme and can seen to be racially provocative and of an inciting nature .Sorry to say that the t.v ( well mainly the beep and I.T.V ) FEEL THEY HAVE TO BOMBARD US WITH THEIR P.C AGENDA . and the only way to rid ourselves of this is to switch off . They are fed to these battery hens on a regular basis on vacuous programme with Lorraine Kelly. Even on here people are talking about them. If there was no longer any tangible interest then the media attention would switch to the next easy packaged product. Its why Big Brother exists. In all its gory freak show formats. And All the Pop Idol programmes. On rare occasions there are people who get to the top and stay there through talent-hello Bruce Forsythe-but in the fast food age the audience don't want that. Christ knows how Ant and Dec have survived for so long. Sport Relief is a vehicle for the chrismatically challenged. But it does raise money which is a blanket to cover the large holes in the quality. Its car crash telly. You watch to see how bad its going to be. Then complain about how bad it is. Use the off button. Having a dig at it isn't going to being down the government. Bit like saying how bloody awful the Graham Norton/Andrew Loyd Webber tv marriage on saturday night is.
