rockin-robin
Firstly, I understand that it is annoying and against our human rights/freedom of movement that we have to travel by coach, but I don't quite understand why so many people are refusing to attend. Lets not forget how massive a game it is, and to any TRUE city supporter, this obstacle would not get in the way.At the end of the day, no matter what away game you go to, you go to support your team. Yes, its infuriating that you cant have a drink and enjoy the day out fully, but it only the one game in a season. As for the time we will get to the ground, and after to speaking to the head steward of the away end at cardiff, they are expecting coaches to arrive somewhere between 1 and 1.30. I expect it may be closer to 2 though as I'm sure hold ups will occur.Come on City, win this one please. YOU REDS!
Guest DanC
I can see two scenarios here. We will go straight to Cardiff and into the ground by 12.30-1 whilst there is few home fans around or we will be held just outside Cardiff for a couple of hours and then we will be escorted into the ground at around 2.30-2.45. I'm thinking it will be the first scenario as if it were to be the second one then the coaches would leave later. I shall not be happy if I'm held on a coach for a couple of hours though. bringbacktherobin
rockinrobin21, i don't think it makes you more of a supporter if you don't to be forced onto a coach to watch a game of football, when you haven't done anything wrong in your life. LSN
I'm fully against the deicision to bus us there and back, always have, always will. But to boycott such a massive game didn't even cross my mind. I'll be going with a lot of freinds who think exactly the same, but wouldn't miss cardiff city away for the world! If it was just another run of the mill game then i could understand. But its not. We are chasing promotion to the Prem.i do however think that the clubs/coach company ticket pricing for the coaches is a bit high, and that without some sort of price incentive, it doesnt help. This is my first trip to Baadiff and I cannot wait! Ditto, cant wait! From that site with the laws i noticed:Most clubs employ stewards for crowd control. They have the rights of citizens arrest' (i.e. if you have committed a criminal offence they can arrest you and hand you over to the police) but in reality the police will invariably back up their actions, right or wrong.
