  1. Kodjia, as expected, showed all the hallmarks of a striker not quite sharp or in tune with the rest of the team yet - by that I mean his runs and touch which were poor. It'll come. He barely touched the ball really but I was impressed with his angled shot that went over; the technique was good but more importantly the idea to have that shot in the first place. Looking forward to watching him improve
  2. That's interesting, I really liked him last year and if he's versatile like that even better! I read he also has a 500k release clause? May not be true.
  3. Sheff Weds have been great today, especially Hunt, McGugan and particularly Wallace. That big striker Nihiu (sp?) was problematic too. Work to do, but not as much of a disaster as implied by this thread! Couple more additions needed still
  4. More optimistic about this now after the last couple of signings, Wednesday have bought big but they might take a while to form a cohesive unit whereas that's not a problem for us. 1-2 win for us Smith and Kodjia 22,580
  5. The "#UTG" is possibly the stupidest bit of that picture - there is absolutely no need to hashtag that offline, complete simpletons.
  6. That's utterly absurd, I refuse to believe that isn't parody - how strange !
  7. Hahaha, how ridiculous! That'll show em'
  8. There's no proof that Sainsbury's weren't, other posters are making an assertion about it that could well be true.
  9. I did enjoy that Bristol Sport's Twitter posted the CGI fly through video again today - subtle addition of salt to the wound.
  10. I enjoy these situations because it's Rovers and they'd be exactly the same if it was us, it's broadly better for us if they fade into nothingness and City continue to improve. Anything major that hinders them like this helps us, although you can't beat a Bristol derby atmosphere.
  11. It's bad for them and good for us really if they lose, they certainly wouldn't want us to win if roles were reversed.
  12. I personally like "make us dream"; whereas for Liverpool it was the first prem title in ages when they used it, for rovers it's just about promotion back into sub-mediocrity.
  13. And to think some people applaud him at AG, he's a tool.
  14. Agreed. Tough one today, envious of their forward line. To our credit this side are usually pretty good in high pressure games.
  15. It's not a negative as such, just an observation. It was pretty embarrassing atmosphere wise. Only really sung after goals/at the end/start of each half. Other away atmospheres (crawley, orient) were much better. I find generally when it's not a complete sell out, atmosphere is better. Exception to this was MK Dons but even then it wasn't constant noise. On that open terrace noise doesn't carry well though.
  16. At crawley there was a great atmosphere with half the number.. And a good result. I'd rather have both. No excuse for a poor atmosphere in our current circumstances!
  17. Great performance - awful atmosphere. Top of the league, sell out, local(ish) rivals.. Atmosphere was dreadful.
  18. Heart - we make a statement. Win 0-5 JET 2, Smith, Pack and Bryan. Head - comfortable 0-2.
  19. We weren't top at kick off, today was particularly quiet I felt, Thursday was better.
