  1. Matty Taylor. Oxford. Good enough for me. Cambridge for the boat race though. Tried to get into Uni there in the 60's but was told couldn't as my name wasn't Don.
  2. CR, as someone who has watched them for over 60, I can totally agree
  3. Nail on Head. Just hope you are wrong but I have been going down the Gate for 62 years now and we seem to have an inbuilt destruct button when it comes to getting the greatest prize of all. Its like Lansdown could be on a coconut shy at a fair, keeps buying balls but doesn't know the coconuts are glued down !!! Hope we are all wrong as his ( and my ) time is running out !
  4. Another one of our era gone RIP wor Jackie
  5. Really ambitious teams go for someone who has managed Benfica, Inter, Ajax etc. We could be looking down the A38 !!!!!!!!!!
  6. I had the identical problem. This is beginning to get monotonous now. Still no e-mail or refunds.
  7. Yes mustn't go back to the old days. saints preserve us. Not needing to do all of that Tony, but should be in charge of recruitment, training and def picking the team. Just prefer the manager not having to answer to a CEO but directly to the Board as in the past. Only a few minutes ago , MA was constantly under criticism on this forum. It seems we are fickle as fans and yet all of us want one thing...............success for BCFC
  8. We hope not Major, but this is good ole Bristol City
  9. As a lifelong supporter of Bristol City and brought up in the shadows of the Floodlights, please take a few minutes to read this. As a Grand-dad who lives with the possibility of a family split because my son in law ( who I have taught to follow The Reds ) dared be different and came from Ecuador, I never thought 10 years ago that even my life could be changed as my daughter fell in love with a guy when she visited Ecuador. I still thank the Lord it wasn't a Gas Head !!! Please see attached a press release for the Open Letter to Boris Johnson that Reunite Families UK have published t
  10. They told me cos it was done through a finance company, Now Lee has gone surely the days of excuses are gone.................or are they ? Still not a dicky bird from them. Very poor customer service.
  11. Yes, posted on here before about this, as I post, still no emails and still no refund yet was promised from Supporter Services that I would be refunded by today. Mystified
