  1. How i see it (prob wrong)

It wont be the Premier League that suffers

It will be the end of the Champions League

What i cant what to see is the managers of the big clubs moaning that there is to much football

If this comes off there will be another 14 games min to play

Christmas drinkers -  People who only ever seem to go to pubs at Christmas Takes them 10 mins to order a round as they

have no idea what drinks the pub sell and no idea what they want to drink ( Just stay f~~~~g home and let us get to the bar)

All it’s done is give a bit more of a numerical evaluation to subjective comments like “that was a gilt-edged chance”, “he’s got to score from there”, “the keeper has had a blinder today”, etc.

I don’t tend to use it in everyday football conversation, ie I never say to Joe or the bloke on the other side of me, “blimey, that was a 0.12 xg chance”, but it can be useful to debate in written forums.

    It ain’t for everyone, granted.

What is a gilt edged chance?

Is a chance given the same xg mark if the same chance falls for Harry Kane or say Forest Greens forward?

Kane might put that chance away 9/10 times where as the other forward 2/10

so how can they grade it

As said before only stat that matters is scored or not

If she makes a mistake I hope everyone realises it is because she is human, not because she is female.

It will be interesting to see if players scream in her face and wave their arms about as much as they normally do.

If she does make a mistake

I hope the pundits and press give her as much stick as they do the the rest

    have to treat everybody equal

Better still give ALL refs a bit of a break

Good to see, and hopefully there will be many more in the future.

As long as they are there on merit

  6. I have a few Gashead mates and like most Gasheads they keep telling me that they have just as many fans as us S###heads

Had bit of spare time the other day so done a bit of home work

Since the 1920 season the total attendance watching the gas at home is approx 23.27 million

In that time City have been watched by 33.45 million

    A small difference of 10.18mill

So if the FA ban fans from watching City until the Gas have caught up with us

Ashton Gate will be closed until the 2067/68 season 44Years!!!!

That is as long as the Gas average 10k a game between now and then

God i need to get a life

I noticed that odious Welsh ***** Lockyer left an elbow / forearm into the chest of Rodri before Silva scored

So pleased they scored and Lockyer hurt himself - he should see red every time I see him

As a side - worse than Wimbledon of 80s

Yeah not close to that wimbledon side

They stayed in the top flight for 14 seasons and won a FA cup

I’d actually be interested to read more about why this style of football suddenly seems to have completely swept through the football league like a new strain of Covid.

Every team seems to try and play it. The best chances every team creates each week seems to be when they nick it off the opposition centre back trying to play like Xavi.

Is this Pep Guardiola’s influence or something else?

This style of football does not work for 99.9% of teams

The only teams who have ever won much playing it are

Man City - Bayern - and Barca (all have something in common PEP)

Bit of Siouxsie Sioux there, too.

Far superior band than the Sex Pistols (who basically only had about 6 songs) & who have lasted the test of time considerably better.

    My favourite ever band

Was at the Royal Albert Hall the (1st night )they recorded the Nocturne album
