  1. It won’t, he’s plastered all over the season ticket propaganda.
  2. WTF does he say at half time?! “Behaviours, principles, emotion”. ***** sake.
  3. Be great if we had a couple of players we could sell for millions to reinvest into the squad for a manager with experience.
  4. Brilliant post, absolutely nailed it there. When he leaves (as he clearly will, one way of another) you can see seeing exactly the same things elsewhere.
  5. I’ve said elsewhere he reminds me of David from the Alien franchise.
  6. Great post Graham, quite similar to my post just prior. I thought it was Hadwin but I think you are right! In any event I also thought they did a good job; not GT level but surprisingly good question and challenge. You can tell he’s a man under pressure from the fans, albeit perhaps not Lansdown. He’s well aware of it too; and to earlier comments it’s far from just on OTIB. Up until recently at least it was the reason he’d not been to an away game in months.
  7. The Oxford fans said he was robotic despite their relative short term success and didn’t connect with them either. He’s got zero charisma and makes no attempt to engage the fan base; and if he is successful I am sure he will be off as soon as possible.
  8. Just cannot listen to him unfortunately or get remotely excited.
  9. I’ve just finally got round to listening to the broadcast. Having read the transcripts (thank you all!) I did think “how bad can it be?”; and it was just as bad if not worse than I was expecting! I thought Ed Hadwin did really well actually; not as direct or as good as GT, he was far more subtle but pretty effective at getting just astonishing statements out of Tinnion. One thing is for sure, and the season ticket propaganda confirms it, Manning is going absolutely nowhere. He could finish the season losing all the rest of our games and still get backed. It will be interesting to see how long he actually gets.
  10. Correct Fevs. It was during an interview with GT towards the end of LJ’s record losing streak.
  11. I’m surprised more people aren’t triggered by it Fevs TBH. The arrogance of it should’ve pissed each and every City fan off forever. In three words he summed up how he feels about the club and us as fans and it’s been on a downward trend ever since.
  12. In my experience the views here about Lansdown, Tinnion and Manning are quite measured. What I see, read and hear away from OTIB in my social circle is far more damning. You world view may be different of course, I respect that, but I don’t think you can really quote the views on here as not being representative when what you actually just have is an opinion and perception; unless you’ve surveyed the entire fan base of course!
  13. People talk about the Nige sacking as the moment they lost faith in Lansdown. For me it was always this comment first and when my opinion of him changed for the worse. The Nige sacking just underlined it.
  14. Good post Fevs. I wish he’d stayed looking after the academy, the most slidiest of sliding doors moments. To a couple of your points he was involved in the sacking and the appointment.
  15. It’s putting me off as well! The Manning propaganda machine in full effect now then. Wonder if he will be on the image this time next year?! As many have said why is Tinnion on it? As for the prices, 10% is too much of an increase.
  16. Yep! Or given Tinnion’s interview yesterday a commemorative purple and lime shirt with TINNION and ‘30’ on the back!
  17. We are so tinpot, it’s embarrassing.
  18. Post of the Month there! As long as Lansdown is still here I think there is always the chance he will bring the prodigal son back. Cue Instagram showreel of Man Utd game highlights with the tag line “Unfinished Business”.
  19. A City game clashing with Valentines Day? It will be Swansea at home, 12:30 KO!
  20. Well quite. There has been a few comments on this thread about fan’s negativity towards Tinnion, Lansdown and Manning and needing to stick with them. Compared to a lot other clubs fans I think City fans are very patient, and pretty quiet when it comes to showing any negativity. I am sure there are other clubs where displeasure would’ve been much more action orientated. With Nige’s sacking many have felt this was a turning point though; the jumping the shark if you like. The failure of Manning (at least, so far) and the doubling down on everything has created the most disconnected period I can ever recall. The Pulis period was awful but that was just against him; this is on a grand scale.
  21. You’re not wrong, 17 pages in under 4 hours!
  22. Just incredible isn’t it? We go from someone with the experience of Nige to someone learning at our expense and that’s progress? Fortunately not many are continuing to fall for this complete and utter bullshit.
  23. BT was absolutely part of Nige going; you are right about the Manning appointment though.
