  1. It’s putting me off as well! The Manning propaganda machine in full effect now then. Wonder if he will be on the image this time next year?! As many have said why is Tinnion on it? As for the prices, 10% is too much of an increase.
  2. Yep! Or given Tinnion’s interview yesterday a commemorative purple and lime shirt with TINNION and ‘30’ on the back!
  3. We are so tinpot, it’s embarrassing.
  4. Post of the Month there! As long as Lansdown is still here I think there is always the chance he will bring the prodigal son back. Cue Instagram showreel of Man Utd game highlights with the tag line “Unfinished Business”.
  5. A City game clashing with Valentines Day? It will be Swansea at home, 12:30 KO!
  6. Well quite. There has been a few comments on this thread about fan’s negativity towards Tinnion, Lansdown and Manning and needing to stick with them. Compared to a lot other clubs fans I think City fans are very patient, and pretty quiet when it comes to showing any negativity. I am sure there are other clubs where displeasure would’ve been much more action orientated. With Nige’s sacking many have felt this was a turning point though; the jumping the shark if you like. The failure of Manning (at least, so far) and the doubling down on everything has created the most disconnected period I can ever recall. The Pulis period was awful but that was just against him; this is on a grand scale.
  7. You’re not wrong, 17 pages in under 4 hours!
  8. Just incredible isn’t it? We go from someone with the experience of Nige to someone learning at our expense and that’s progress? Fortunately not many are continuing to fall for this complete and utter bullshit.
  9. BT was absolutely part of Nige going; you are right about the Manning appointment though.
  10. Completely agree Fevs. Incredibly he’s actually made a dreadful situation worse. The “30 years” comment was so arrogant; no one is entitled anything just through time served, least of someone who in the last year has behaved the way he has. I think we all knew he was going to back Manning, as indeed does Lansdown, and this doubled down on that. With one or two signings in summer, Manning going nowhere and an ambition that’s as high as ten points better than we are now it’s a very depressing period in our history.
  11. Just heard, he’s announcing LM’s sacking.
  12. Can’t see it mate. Pre-scripted whitewashing of the Lansdown rhetoric I would think. It’s a definite listen just to see how bad it is.
  13. I’m sure he would’ve come on the show if we’d lost yesterday!
  14. I think we all know how this will go. Several minutes of Tinnion gushing over a young coach who will take us forward, ignoring everything else.
  15. They should be made to watch the rest of this seasons home games as a punishment!
  16. I completely agree. The only place I hear anything positive said about things at the moment is on OTIB. Well, that and Sound of the City!
  17. Unfortunately I completely agree with you. I thought in Manning’s presser this week he didn’t sound like a man whose job was on the line with the Swansea game. That result today will give them a feeling of being right about supporting him. I think things will have to get really, really bad for them to sack him. He’s their man and they are doubling down on it. In the meantime Manning is losing the fans as each game passes and snide swipes at us really don’t help that.
  18. Indeed, never going to go well if you start blaming the fans.
  19. Unfortunately he’s staying. That result will just vindicate their decision to stick with him. Also said that were are better defensively under Manning!
  20. I actually saw him do a vague attempt at it as he walked away from the singing section, two limp fist pumps rather than the usual. All a bit pathetic really.
  21. Yes, the win was important, but the game was dreadful. Again.
  22. As bad a win as you’ll ever see that. Clearly the win was everything but the game itself, especially first half, was appalling. Fortunately Swansea couldn’t get a shot of target else it would’ve been a very different story.
  23. Fair point KITR. Certainly be interesting to see how it pans out.
  24. I can’t see it being anything other than pretty toxic if we lose Pete. Bad enough against Cardiff!
  25. Absolutely. None of us ever want to see City lose a game, but if we do tomorrow I can only see it being hugely negative/toxic. There will be no good feeling that’s for sure!
