How will the televised matches affect midweek games? Presumably shift them by a day and make it an 8pm kick off rather than 7.45. It’s messing with the Saturday afternoon routine that’s a real pain. And anyway 23 televised games is an average. So that’s Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton on 35+ televised games and whoever of Ipswich or Southampton fails to get promoted, while given even our own fans aren’t that keen on watching us right now, while Manning is here we will likely only be televised 10 times at most next season!

They should absolutely give the facts when selling season tickets.  What % of games will be on a Saturday at 3pm (in fairness, I don’t include games moved by the police in that ask)

I read that championship clubs could expect to be on the TV in about 23 games. Assuming that's 50/50 for home and away then it's seems likely we will have 11 or 12 home games affected. So that's around 50%

I may be totally wrong so best check the EFL TV deal details on their website

  3. I'm just not enjoying it anymore and the nonsense spouted by Tweedledum and Tweedledee trying to justify Pearson's dismissal is only compounded by their characterless and inept replacement.

Added to that, it seems to me, given the new EFL TV deal, there will be around 50% of home games not being 3pm Saturday KOs. No details yet, but with a guaranteed 5 championship games on TV each weekend will this mean Friday, Sunday and Monday games with various KO times as in the Prem?

    So probably not renewing.

I believe that Steve, Jon and the FD are all chartered accountants. Nigel and his two coached departed as well as Rennie. Given where Rennie had moved from, I doubt if he was cheap and Nige would have been paid according to his status as a senior manager brought in to do a difficult job.  Their replacements were a lower league manager and his coaching buddy.  Now, I think it seems to fit that 4 expensive types out and two cheaper types in, seems to suggest that economies were part of the agenda.  The three accountants did not seem to weigh the importance of experience of the sort they lost when Nigel departed.  Maybe you think that Manning and Hogg were more expensive  in which case, if you are right, then I would be shocked and surprised.

You seem to overlook that some if not all of those dismissed will be recieving ongoing compensation/severance payments.

I do know why NP was sacked and I can assure you that your "legend" and his underhand and cowardly briefing was central to that decision being taken.

The situation does not change for me until JL steps down. He created this mess personally, and should have the guts to take responsibility.

True, but guess who was behind him encouraging and stirring the pot 🐍

Brian Tinnion is feeding him info either directly or indirectly.  Directly is my guess.  And it’s not unusual for clubs to do this either, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes to try and offset some flak.

If I was the club, getting a bit of stick from fans, who would I choose (against my better judgement) - a Nige-hater with a big opinion.  Ian fits the bill perfectly to be a LM / Club advocate.

If he believes anything Tinnion says then he's a fool
