    New purchases ?
I just looked and I went as far as choosing a seat, and I've already got mine. Maybe people not planning to renew their current seat and have just got a new one .

I’ve bought a season ticket for E28 in the Dolman next season and will just let my old seat in W15 lapse . The original e-mails FAQ’s advised that and it worked fine .

After not having attended a game since Swansea for my own sanity, performances and results have picked up. Some on here and social media believing Manning is in fact the second coming. So against my best judgement, I decided to have another look myself.

Wow, that was dire! It confirmed everything we already knew. This new and improved Manningball was a flash in the pan. That my friends is the football you have to look forward to next season, which will come as no surprise to many.

Good luck all for next season. I shall look forward to a return to the gate in a year or two.

Unfortunately if you pick the occasional game rather than attend regularly, your chances of picking a “dog” are inordinately higher ! Were 12th . Have won 4 of the last 6 losing just once by a single goal , away to potential league champions . I’m not convinced by possession at all costs football either but I’ll take this run of results all day long over attacking “ charge of the Light Brigade “ football where we win one , lose one . I’m not convinced by him yet but I am convinced that he deserves a summer window , pre-season and until. Christmas to see what he can do . As for yourself , stay away …….. you’re clearly a jinx !!!!

  3. Was excellent. Let the game flow and got very little , if anything , wrong . Also wasn’t afraid to bring play back for an earlier foul which is a skill in itself !

Tomorrow they launch the Manning collection Offyego Watch this space…

Nah , tomorrow we’ll be launching the Liam Manning trainer range ! Physically impossible to walk forwards in them ! Only backwards and sideways!!

They were 27 unbeaten and flying at the time, another ridiculous post. One of the reasons they are 4th because we beat then 3-1. Honestly this place gets more childish by the hour, the reasoning used to be anger at the Board not Manning but the amount of venom to Liam is pathetic, school playground stuff.

Bit like Starmer's campaign to oust the Tories, no alternative policy no idea as with here, who the Hell do we propose? NEIL ******* WARNOCK. OTIB at it's finest.

Have you considered that they had already started faltering BEFORE we played them and that we  didn’t take down the mighty Goliath that day? Goliath was already nursing a nasty kick in the nuts a few days before when Huddersfield nearly beat him !

I genuinely believe that whilst 20K attendances will be announced footfall, unless we put a run together, will be dreadful for the last three home games. Easily on a par with Swansea without the away fans there to pad out the numbers.

Yes . I thought the Swansea attendance was around 16,000 to be honest . The Lansdown was barely at 50% !!

Each to their own but I do struggle a little with the argument of ‘he deserves the summer and early part of next season’. What has he done to justify that opportunity?

He’s taken a mid table team with some potential to basically relegation fodder/form in 24 games which is over half a season. He didn’t inherit a bottom 3 team in free fall low on confidence. People like Danny Rohl at sheff wed (yesterday aside!) or Cifuentes at qpr deserve a summer as they have generally overseen an upside in form/results since their respective appointments.

I struggle to see many, if any, upsides to manning since he came in. For me, he has lost that opportunity over time due to our poor form (both as individual players and the team as a whole), results, unwillingness to adapt and general negativity which now engulfs the club. He has absolutely zero rapport with the fans which I really struggle to see him ever establish.

Must be sacked asap . His record over his 24 games is awful . The football is awful . The players look desperately unhappy. The fans are desperately unhappy . How on earth has he done enough to give him a summer window ?

I can't bring myself to attend games whilst this Lansdown shitcuntery continues.

    WTF are they doing?

With you on this . I’m watching the Leicester game as my son is travelling up to join me but that aside , this will be my last game this season and I’m a season card holder . It’s not just unenjoyable now it’s actually depressing!

I watched Plymouth yesterday and my god they’re terrible. Genuinely if you thought watching us was bad. No goal at home in 4 now, chants all round of ‘Ian Foster your football is shit’ and ‘We want Foster out’ (at least the fans send a message rather than take it…)

So all in all, congrats to Argyle on a home win!

After watching City for almost 50 years I can’t believe how passive our fans are now . 20,000 people just sat there shaking their heads but saying nothing . We’re giving the Lansdowns and their useless Technical Director such an easy time it beggars belief !!

OK, let’s  have your predictions for our final eight games, my (optimistic thoughts) are below. If I’m right we will pick up eight more points and finish with 55 points (four less than last season.)

    Home

    Leicester L

    Blackburn D

    Huddersfield W

    Rotherham W

    Away

    Plymouth D

    Sunderland L

    Norwich L

    Stoke L

I think we’ll lose to Blackburn and Plymouth and draw with Huddersfield so 51 points for me unfortunately. I can see Rotherham being our only win over those 8 games leaving Manning with a record of 2 wins from the last 14 games I believe .

Tinnion is doing a good job at the Academy IMHO. I can see why he receives some criticism but calling for his sacking is a wild overreaction.

The results since NP left do however make a mockery of the stated reason for sacking NP and appointing Manning: that NP wasn't getting enough out of the players and that bringing in Manning would mean a much better final league position.

    This aim has blatantly failed.

    What is the Board's response?

    Is it "Oh well." perchance?

I honestly believe that we just couldn’t (or wouldn’t) afford a new contract in the summer for Nige , hence taking on the work experience kid to replace him . Our January window both in and out all suggests monetary issues rather than football issues , have been the root cause of the decisions made .

Not so much the dullest but absolutely one of the most underperforming and least unsuccessful given the potential. That many supporters are happy that we have become an established second tier club backs up that poor record leading to very limited ambitions.

Totally agree . So many fans seem to view the Championship as the pinnacle of achievement and that staying there with no hope of success is somehow enjoyable . It’s a sport and everyone involved in sport as either a fan or a player surely wants to experience the highs of success and I really can’t fathom how mediocrity is so popular with some .

  13. Amazing window was January! We signed 5 players with not one of them getting any game time and two of which we loaned back despite clearly needing them !

  14. So much said about NP , shouldn’t have been sacked , replaced with a novice because he couldn’t work with the board etc but seemingly very little about what’s POTENTIALLY behind all that’s gone on . The evidence to me seems to point to some pretty horrible financial accounts next time and beyond once again .

The truth could be that we simply couldn’t afford Nige any longer so were never going to offer him a new contract on that basis . Loaning out Andi ( one of our likely biggest earners)to Championship rivals when we were so short of firepower seemed nuts but maybe WBA are paying his wages fully  whilst on loan . Loaning Max Bird and Josh Stokes straight back may also have been an economic decision to help us stay within FFP for the present year . Much has been rumoured about Matt James not being injured but that if he plays again it will trigger a contract extension ? Now we have the 10% price hike in season tickets . Not saying any of the above is fact but to me it points in that direction and if so , the board had little choice in making the unpopular decisions they did ?

    All but mathematical safety confirmed.
Now is the time to act, get rid of Manning, utilise King/others to see us through the season and then get ready to make a managerial announcement ready for next season.

We can (high majority) all see that Liam Manning isn’t the man for this job.

if only the technical director had any ounce of credibility about himself

Totally agree . We can’t run the risk of us winning 2 or 3 “dead runners” over the next month or so and him being allowed the reins for next season . His football will see us all but relegated by Christmas . Not felt so strongly that a manager was “the wrong fit” in the 46 years I’ve been supporting City .

    Three points.

Virtually confirming survival this year and relegation next.

This . Shocking performance today and the result  papered over the cracks . If we stick with this clown as is very likely, I really fear for us next season .

I can’t see it being anything other than pretty toxic if we lose Pete. Bad enough against Cardiff!

Losing five in a row including 2 sides in the bottom 3 and both Severnside derbies should be curtains for any manager ! I’m hopeful that the players will dig him out today and get us 3 points but would be equally unsurprised to see a snooze fest with both teams terrified of losing !!!

He’s been involved in 31 of their 36 games this season prior to today.

He played every game in October & November so this clearly isn’t true.

My apologies for a minor oversight ! It was 6 1/2 weeks out PRIOR to October rather than during October !

    Groin - 4 to 5 weeks.

That could potentially end his season ! It’s a repeat of the groin injury that kept him out for 6 weeks in October !! Have we done it again ????

    Getting rid of Nige !

I’m 50/50 on the rights and wrongs of Nige going but replacing him with a kid on work experience was the most ridiculous decision in the last 10 years by the club . ( and there’s been quite a few)
