Var surely looking at that
Not a pen Saka looked for it.
Why did he do that? Try to score rather than try to cheat a penalty. The mentality of today's footballers is wrong.

Fair enough and I should have read it. Seems mad though that 3 months matters. I cannot vote for Conway or any of the others as I don’t think they are deserving. Bell or Roberts are hardly deserving either but at least there would be a proper choice
Tommy only makes it by 1 day. Birthday 6 August, first game 5 August.

They get £150m golden hello already. Seems enough to me
Which is why they always claim the Championship Play Off Final to be one of (if not the) most lucrative games in football.

They should do what the Scottish FA did to Rangers. Demote them to the bottom of there football league. They had to come up from the bottom and reorganise the whole club. They were promoted each season.
Unfortunately that will never happen .
Another club that should be looked at is Manchester United !.
I agree something should happen but doesn't that make a bit of a farse to the lower leagues for a couple of seasons? One giant club wins everything, effectively reducing the promotion spots for all the other clubs.

The decision to play in long trousers is a strange one!

No polls. No hoping for the best.
He’s either hopelessly out of his depth or he’s just not cut out to be a football manager at this level.
I'm beginning to think we only gave him the job because he looks a bit like Eddie Howe.

Whoever thought this was a good idea at the club needs to be sacked. Yet another example of how poorly BCFC is run as a business.

We used to run on after every match in the '60s, get a grip,
The key word there is 'after'. Not whilst the game was been played

If we're doing well BT will no doubt take credit. Equally then, if we're doing badly he is part of the problem too.

Getting rid of Manning now will require JL to admit he got it wrong with the appointment. And sadly, I just can't see him doing that.

full respect to you but then what? put Tinman in charge again as they obviously didnt learn first time, just sacked the best manager we`ve had here since SC.....anyone have any faith in them getting it right next time.
Exactly. No faith in the current mob with recruitment full stop.

Comes to something when the most entertaining thing at the Gate at the moment is two blokes rolling a inflatable apple at half time.

A player enjoying his football. Not sure you can say that about any of our squad at the moment.

BBC missed us out on his career path to date.

He's definitely part of the thinking and personnel that needs to change at the club.

See I think about these things too much. But the lyrics…
”I’ve been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they live underwater
And your great great great granddaughter is pretty fine”
Have always bugged me. For a start, living underwater appears to be a marked change to living and they’ve just blown it off as if it’s nothing. Worse though, they appear to have a thing for really old people and they were 20 somethings. The song came out about 2000 and therefore the great great great granddaughter of the person they are addressing would represent the 5th generation down. Meaning on average she would be about 200 and therefore likely to be a dribbling mess who can’t dress herself. Far from being pretty fine, it can only be surmised they’re taking advantage of an elderly lady and they’re absolute scumbags. On that basis, I can’t support this gig.
Added to that, they’re ****ing shit. But it’s mainly the moral angle.
Maybe in 3000 they were looking at a photo of the (now very deceased) great, great, great granddaughter? But it's not really worth my overthinking

Where are these holes cut ?
And are they cheaper in the club shop as they less material and more holes therefore less sock ?
If you cut a hole, isn't there still the same amount of material? Just less tight? God I'm overthinking this for a Monday morning

Good post.
I really hope the club can address this problem for the 24/25 season.
There must be a way to shuffle the fans that are current season ticket holders to both sides. It wont really affest their views ans perhaps a little "dangle of a carrot" will help.
Then offer all thos in section 82 yhe oppertunity to take up this area.
When they start singing its bound to get fans joining in on each side and then creating a much better atmosphere.
If that "dangle of a carrot" was funded by those moving across do you think it would be welcomed? Pay more to be in the new singing section to offset cheaper seats either side in the stand. Bit of 'give and take' that wouldn't cost the club.

Harry Cornick... apparently people wake up with him on their mind!

There's temporary lights on Ashton Road too. Outside The Coopers.

Good news. I've one question though. Under league rules, are teams allowed to print names on shirts over two lines? TGH looks a bit silly arced around his number.

It certainly used to be the case at others clubs, maybe not ours. Especially with senior players.

Can someone please explain the logic of two subs coming on in 89th minute when we are 2-0 down and don’t look like scoring if we played another 90 minutes?
To add an appearance to their season's stats. Sometimes contracts and/or bonuses can be tied to appearances.
Outstanding performance

You'd be correct. Just take a look at their forum.
But no complaints, better than many refs we've had this season
